I used the grips in France in the last round of the EWC, (enduro world championship). There's nothing worse than trying to hold on and ride how you want, with your hands slipping off the grips when they are all wet and muddy!
I found the overgrips to be just what I was looking for and could concentrate on racing instead of trying to hold on.
